Senior Regulatory Reporting & Data Analyst
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-driven professional to join our Finance & Treasury Department as a Senior Regulatory Reporting & Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our regulatory obligations are met with precision and efficiency, while also helping to enhance our reporting processes through smart automation. You will work closely with colleagues across the business, combining analytical expertise with a strong commitment to compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily activities will include:
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely regulatory reports in line with financial regulations.
- Gather, clean, and analyse complex datasets from a variety of sources.
- Validate and reconcile data to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Identify issues or anomalies in data and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- Collaborate with internal teams to source information and clarify requirements.
- Support the development of automated solutions to streamline reporting and reduce manual work.
Skills and Capabilities Required
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in regulatory reporting and/or data analytics.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data manipulation tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
- Previous experience in a financial or regulatory environment (desirable).
- Fluency in English and Maltese (preferred).
