Finance Intern

The Role

The selected intern will support the day-to-day activities of the Finance team, providing administrative assistance and gaining exposure to basic finance processes. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the scanning, filing, and uploading of finance-related documents.
  • Supporting the upkeep and organisation of financial records and files.
  • Assisting with data entry tasks and updating spreadsheets.
  • Helping to prepare documentation required by the Finance team.
  • Assisting with basic reconciliations and checking information for accuracy.
  • Providing general administrative support to the Finance team.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an MQF Level 5 qualification in Accounting or a related field.
  • Fluent in Maltese and English.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage tasks effectively.
  • Keen to learn and gain practical experience in finance.

Working Arrangement

  • Full-time during summer months.
  • Part-time during the scholastic year (average of 20 hours per week).
